TimeCard54 is a new program licensed under the GNU General Public License, offering custom personal project management with the ability to create multiple projects, work types, billing rates, billing information and track the time you spend working! There is also a reports section for viewing reports on your work based on criteria you determine, as well as billing invoice creation for use in billing your clients.

You can use TimeCard54 by creating an account on the version running on our servers, or you may download the files to run (and modify if you like) the program from your own webserver (the file is called timecard54 and is in .zip format). TimeCard54 is written in PHP, Javascript and XHTML with CSS and interfaces with a MySQL server.

TimeCard54 allows you to:

• Create multiple projects, complete with addresses, email contacts, phone numbers, etc.
• Create multiple work "types," for example Graphic Design, Programming, Page Design, etc.
• Create multiple billing rates, either hourly or at a regularly recurring interval (i.e. daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, etc.)
• Insert your own personal information for use in generating billing invoices.
• Clock into and out of projects on an hourly basis with set work types and billing rates.
• Clock into and out of projects on an interval basis (weekly, monthly, etc.)
• View reports on your work based on project, type of work, billing rate or date.
• Print invoices for billing specific projects, sorted by work type and date.

If you're a working professional who needs a method of keeping track of your various projects and types of work, give TimeCard54 a try! Currently in it's BETA release, this is a "testing" version, but you are welcome to download, modify (for your own use) and utilize it, absolutely FREE! A complete TimeCard54 User's Manual is currently being developed to assist in running the program.

If you download your own copy of TimeCard54, simply do the following to set up your program:

• Create a MySQL database called 'timecard54'
• Create a user named 'tcuser' with the password 'webusr2005' with full privileges for the 'timecard54' database.
• UnZIP the timecard54.zip file.
• Move the folder onto your webserver (must be running PHP).
• Open the 'setup_config.php' file from the URL line in your browser.
  (Typically something like http://localhost/timecard54/setup_config.php.)
• Once the script has run and you receive a positive response, remove the 'setup_config.php' file from your web directory (you can delete it).
• Open the 'index.php' file (http://localhost/timecard54/index.php), fill in the Register form and begin using the program!
