aim54's primary focus is in the areas of graphics and website design, however we offer a variety of services which both integrate with and go far beyond those interests. In all honesty we don't offer them because we feel it will make us "more marketable" or open us to a more broad client base. We offer these services because they are things we love doing, and we pride ourselves on doing them well.
The majority of our rates are charged by the hour because some projects simply involve more work (and thus more time) than others. Our minimum billable fee is 1 hour, however after the initial hour we round our time to the nearest half-hour (up or down). Of course, our initial consultation and cost estimate is completely free of charge.

Website design is the formal process of laying out, coding, creating and testing (for functionality, and browser & OS compatibility) a website. Our websites are all hand coded, creating a unique, clean and custom design, free of extraneous code and commented for easy revision and updating. We currently offer coding in the following languages:

aim54 currently charges $50.00/hour for website design. Our initial consultation for your website, to include a cost analysis, will of course be at no charge. Also, please note that website design does not include graphics design. If you require graphic design for integration with your site, such work will be billed at the current Graphic Design hourly rate.
Graphic design covers any editing of a graphic item such as a photo, drawing or logo, or any manipulation of an image or other graphical artifact. Graphic design can cover many formats and be used for many purposes, from creating a business logo (identity), enhancing family photographs or creating an artistic rendering, representation or interpretation to building an eye-catching image for a website (and much, much more).
aim54 offers graphic design primarily as a compliment to our website design, however we also create and build business logos for use on company stationery, business cards and storefronts as well as design advertisements for use in newspapers, telephone directories and the internet. In our graphic design process we use programs such as:

Macromedia's Flash has changed the way animation is used on the internet. Although we do not provide in–house Flash creation and production, if a client has a desire or requirement for Flash integration in their website aim54 has several Flash design specialists to utilize as sub–contractors for the creation of Flash elements.
aim54's charges for Flash design will depend upon the cost charged by the sub–contractor.
There are a variety of needs and uses for digital audio today – either within or completely separate from the internet. A client may have a desire or need to host a streaming audio feed from their site or they may want to provide a downloadable audio file such as an MP3, WAV or AIFF.
Whatever your particular need, aim54 can help you with the creation, editing and publishing of your digital audio to the internet, CD or perhaps as part of a soundtrack (or voiceover) for digital video. Whether you're looking to turn an old cassette recording into an MP3 or audio CD or trying to record a personal message for use on the internet, we have the gear and the knowledge to help. Whether you're looking for a brief Quicktime introduction for the web, converting an old VHS home movie to DVD or a unique 2–hour DVD created from your camcorder footage for friends and family, we can help you create exactly what you're looking for. aim54 currently charges $60.00/hour for basic video conversion and $100.00/hour for full video editing, sequencing and production.
"Are you in a band?" Are you a public speaker, lecturer or have a need for the live recording of audio? If so, aim54 can help you. With our highly portable MOTU 828, PowerBook G4 and AudioDesk 2.01 we have the ability to set up and record almost anywhere. The recording can then be mixed down and converted to MP3 and/or burned to an audio CD. We can currently record and playback up to 8 tracks of digital audio, realtime, with effects. We hope to soon increase this capacity to 24 tracks.
aim54 currently charges $50.00 for local area set–up and recording of up to 2 hours of music, or $70.00 for up to 4 hours. Please note that this is the recording fee, and if any post–recording production (such as mixing, mastering, etc.) is required, such production will be billed at our regular Digital Audio rate of $40.00/hour.
