...a listing of local bands in your (relative) area. information includes band members, bios, pictures, albums, upcoming performances, song samples in mp3 format and really just about anything else the band feels like putting on their page. hey it's their stuff. we just provide the space (and the occasional editorial commenting, heh heh heh)...
...a listing of clubs and venues in your area featuring live performances by local artists (and occasionally regional/national acts). information includes address, directions, upcoming shows, hours of operation, contact info (for booking & general comments), and photos when available. we don't discrimiate, either! the worst dive bars still get the exact same 'we really couldn't care less' treatment as the best dive bars do...
...a calendar of events local to your area, maintained by localx. what does that mean? it means if we think you have a cool event going on (and we happened to read the weekend section of the newspaper), you'll find it here. have an event you'd like to add? follow the contact link at the bottom of the page to send us the info, and if it meets our criteria (and we're either in a particularly fantastic mood or just plain bored), we'll add it right away...
